Is SackZack free?
Yes, the app is free to use and contains no ads.
Who can see my ratings and notes when I use the online sync?
Nobody can see your information unless you use the Buddy feature. In that case, your buddy can see your rating only if they also have the item in their collection. However, they cannot actively browse your collection. Additionally, individual items can be marked as private, ensuring they are not shared with anyone.
Which products can I scan?
You can scan any item with a barcode – food, drinks, drugstore items, electronics, and more.
Can I add products without a barcode?
Yes, you can manually add items without a barcode. However, since they cannot be uniquely identified, they cannot be shared with friends.
Can I export my data?
Yes, you can export your ratings and notes as a .db file for backups or transferring to another device.
Does the app work offline?
Yes, SackZack works even without an internet connection. You can sync your data later.
